An emblematic terroir
Passy Le Clou is a charming Chablis estate nestled in the northern reaches of Burgundy, which was revitalized in 2017 when it was acquired by winemaker Marine Descombe and Kevin Jandard. Focusing entirely on Chardonnay, the winery is celebrated for its commitment to terroir—the unique environmental factors of the land—by treating each of its 21 small plots individually to produce wines with exceptional purity and a vibrant, mineral character. Their philosophy centers on natural respect for the land, employing sustainable practices like avoiding herbicides and enhancing biodiversity to ensure their classic Chablis, Petit Chablis, and Premier Cru wines express the zesty, crisp, and fresh notes that are the hallmark of the region.
